Immuno Laboratories is a fully licensed clinical reference laboratory specializing in food allergy testing. Infinite Acuity has worked closely with Immuno Laboratories to develop a web-based physician's portal for their organization. This portal allows physicians which use Immuno Laboratories to run their tests to submit their requisitions and pay for them all from the web. Physicians also have the ability to view the status of requisitions being processed and information on past requisitions as well.

IA is also currently assisting Immuno Laboratories with the managing and upgrading of their internal infrastructure in order to bring better services and more value to their customers. This includes the creation of a middleware application that will facilitate communication between their newly purchased LIS system (Orchard Harvest) and their existing CRM system (Pivotal CRM). Upon completion of this new LIS integration, IA will then proceed to manage the process of upgrading their CRM system to a new version and new funcionality model.

The method by which the Immuno portal communicates to their CRM system is via a direct SQL server connection over an encrypted VPN tunnel. Through this encrypted tunnel, information can be passed back and forth securely using standard SQL instructions.

The middleware application being developed to exchange data between their LIS system and their CRM system will use what is called the HL7 standard protocol to communicate with the LIS system and then use a direct SQL connection to communicate with the CRM system.
